Microsoft Office 365 for business is a licensing platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses with up to 300 employees. There are three types of license available, which are described below:
- Business Basic: This license provides access to the following:
- An E-Mail account hosted in the cloud (including a web interface to access your email)
- Access to Microsoft Teams using your company email address
- Access to OneDrive, with 1TB of storage space
- The ability to access and edit documents in a web browser (e.g. Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
- Business Standard: This license provides everything in the Basic license, and in addition:
- A License to install PC/Mac editions of Office 365 on up to 5 computers/laptops
- Access to Webinar features in Microsoft Teams
- Business Premium: This license provides everything in the Basic and Standard licenses, and in addition:
- Additional security features, including device control
- Additional data control
